According to today's Hollywood Reporter a live action Garfield film (complete with a computer-generated, lasagna-loving feline) is set to begin filming in March. Twentieth Century Fox is producing the film which will star Breckin Meyer as Jon Arbuckle, Garfield's perpetually single owner, and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Arbuckle's love interest. Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow, who worked on Pixar's Toy Story, are providing the script for Fox's Garfield film, which centers around the 27-pound Garfield's rivalry with Odie.
