HBO has released a preview of Season 3 of Game of Thrones, which is slated to debut on March 31st.  HBO’s adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s bestselling series of epic fantasy novels has been a huge ratings hit, averaging over 10 million viewers per episode during its second season, and spawning popular comic books, graphic novels, board and card games.

 

HBO recently signed a new deal with Martin, who will take a more active role in the Game of Thrones adaptation as well as develop new projects for the pay cable network (see "George R.R. Martin Expands HBO Deal").
