Viz Media has announced it will be publishing two manga box sets this fall as part of its Shonen Jump line.

Arriving on October 1st, the Bakuman Box Set will collect all twenty volumes of Tsugumi Ohba's series about Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi's adventures in manga creation.  The set will also include a bonus mini-comic entitled "Otter No. 11" and a full-color, double-sided poster.  First started in 2010, Bakuman has been a regular feature in Viz's weekly Shonen Jump magazine.  The Bakuman Box Set will retail for $159.99 and is rated T for teens.

The second Viz box set is the One Piece Box Set: East Blue & Baroque Works.  Collecting volumes 1 through 23, this box set contains the first six years of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece series and the "East Blue" and "Baroque Works" story arcs from 2003 through 2009.  Bonus features include an exclusive poster and mini-comic.  Like Bakuman, One Piece is also regularly found in the Shonen Jump digital magazine.

Viz has been collecting these One Piece story arcs in a set of omnibus editions beginning in 2009.  Since then, Viz has released five of these editions.

The box set announcements follow closely on Viz's recent announcements of new Pokemon manga series (see "New 'Pokemon' Manga Series") and new Shonen Sunday and Shojo Beat acquisitions (see "Viz's 2013 Lineup").
