Diamond Comic Distributors and Diamond Book Distributors have been awarded exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the comic, book, and hobby and gaming channels for Gen Manga Entertainment and Yumcha Studios.
We’ll let Gen Manga president Robert McGuire describe his company’s output, from an ICv2 interview last fall (see "Gen Manga's Publishing Program"). "We’re indie manga from the Tokyo underground," he said. "We publish original indie manga from Japan. All of our artists are indie manga artists also known as doujinshi. We publish them first anywhere in the world."
Yumcha Studios is the publisher of Dim Sum Warriors, which grew out of a popular iPad app designed to teach people Mandarin and English.
