DC Comics has announced a six-issue DC Universe vs. The Masters of the Universe mini-series for late this summer. Written by Keith Giffen (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Threshold) and illustrated by Dexter Soy (Captain Marvel, Army of Two), issue #1 will premiere August 28 with covers for the entire run by Ed Benes.
When Skeletor flees to Earth, He-Man and his fellow heroes follow and come face-to-face with Earth's greatest protectors, the Justice League.
DC has had a steady flow of Masters of the Universe releases over the last year. In 2012, DC debuted He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, a six-issue mini-series that recently ended. Various one-shots written by creators such as Josh Fialkov, Giffen, and James Robinson, and illustrated by Philip Tan and Frazer Irving have also been released sporadically.
