Newtype has announced that orders for its May issue (its seventh) have crossed 100,000 copies. The American edition of Japan's top anime magazine started at 30,000 copies, and went to 60,000 copies for the second issue (see 'Newtype Print Run Doubled for Second Issue'). With a $9.95 cover price, orders are now topping $1 million per issue.
