WWE has licensed Papercutz to produce comics and graphic novels based on its properties, according to License. Papercutz is one of the largest publishers of graphic novels for kids, selling big numbers on such properties as Ninjago, Smurfs, and Geronimo Stilton (see “Top 10 Kids & Tweens GN Properties—Full Year 2012”).
WWE has been expanding its outreach to kids; it launched a new half hour show on Saturday mornings last fall (see “Rebranded Saturday Morning”).
