Fantasy Flight Games has announced plans for Enter the Unknown, a new career supplement sourcebook for its Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG, releasing in the fourth quarter of 2013.
The Enter the Unknown rules supplement for Edge of the Empire details the Explorer character career path with new talents, specializations (Archeologist, Big Game Hunter, Driver) and other options (like vehicles, droids and equipment), and outlines options useful for other character classes a well. There are also new GM adventure tools to incorporate the themes of hunting, trade and exploration into the game. This book also gives characters advancement opportunities to form signature abilities through campaign experience.
Enter the Unknown follows the recent release of the core rulebook (see "'Star Wars: Edge of Empire Core Rulebook'") and third quarter plans for the first adventure book, Beyond the Rim (see "First 'Star Wars RPG' Adventure").
