Gen Con News:  Gale Force 9 has acquired a license to produce a board game based on the popular FX Network motorcycle gang show, Sons of Anarchy, which will premiere its sixth season on September 10th.  Previous seasons of Sons of Anarchy, starring Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal, have averaged 4.9 million viewers per week, which is a record for the FX cable network.
 
Gale Force 9 was inserting Sons of Anarchy teaser page into advance copies of the Firefly: The Game board game that they were selling at Gen Con (see "'Firefly: The Game' Board Game").  
 
The release of the Sons of Anarchy board game is planned for late 2013 or early 2014.

Sons of Anarchy was also recently licensed for comics, to BOOM! Studios (see "Boom Gets Sons of Anarchy").
