Charlie Bean has been signed to direct the upcoming Ninjago animated feature, according to Hollywood Reporter.   Bean has directed Robotboy and Tron:  Uprising; Ninjago will be his first feature.

The film is being written by Dan and Kevin Hageman (see "'Ninjago'--The Movie").

The Ninjago movie will be produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee, who are producing the Lego movie and the upcoming Archie film (see "Archie Movie Set"), along with Lego Movie directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
