WizKids will release Marvel HeroClix: Captain America--The Winter Soldier on March 5th, 2014, a month before the movie debut on April 4, 2014 (see "First 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Poster"). The release will be in three SKUs: a Gravity Feed, with five hobby exclusive figures; a Starter Set; and a Mini Game.
The 24 ct. Gravity Feed of single-figure blind-boxed packs will include13 figures of Captain America and his allies, with all-new dial designs, for $2.99 per pack. The core hobby release (paralleling the mass market release) will include five unique figures exclusive to the hobby SKU. Figure breakdown includes 8 commons, 4 core-hobby exclusive rares, and 1 core-hobby exclusive chase figure.
The Marvel HeroClix: Captain America – The Winter Soldier Movie Starter Set will include six figures with all-new dial designs, two maps, a rulebook, the HeroClix Powers and Abilities card, and tokens, for $24.99. (The solicitation also mentions the starters will include "exclusive Online Enhanced content" but does not elaborate.)
There will also be a special mini-game released, which includes two Captain America – The Winter Soldier HeroClix figures , an exclusive fold-up game board, Bystander tokens, dice and a quick-start rules sheet at $9.99.
WizKids also recently announced another big Marvel movie-related HeroClix release (see "'Marvel HeroClix: X-Men- Days of Future Past'").
