Bushiroad will release a new Sword Art Online expansion for its Weiss Schwarz TCG.  The Weiss Schwarz: Sword Art Online Vol. 2 booster will release on April 25th.
 
The expansion will include 80 base cards in five rarities, as well as 18 parallel cards.  Gold foil chase cards featuring autographs from six  Japanese voice cast members will be randomly inserted in some booster packs.  Each booster will include eight randomly packed cards, which are available in 20 pack displays.  Each display will include three PR cards (out of 6 types).  Eight foldable deckcases will be included in each carton (16 displays) for retailer promotion.
 
The Sword Art Online booster has proven popular, boosted perhaps by streaming of the anime on Crunchyroll and Daisuki Inc., TV exposure on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block, and Aniplex’s Blu-ray releases this summer and fall (see "DVD Round-Up: 'Pacific Rim,' 'Clone Wars,' 'The IT Crowd' & More").
