Bushiroad will release the new Love Live! expansion for its Weiss Schwarz TCG.  The expansion will include the Love Live! Trial Deck on May 9, followed by the Love Live! booster on May 23.
 
The set is based on the Love Live! School Idol Project multimedia property that includes manga, music CDs, anime and video games about a group of school girls who become idols to save their school from shutting down.  Players can choose from the idol characters from the animation series.
 
The 50-card Trial Deck will contain 22 types of cards, with 14 Trial Deck exclusive cards, including one (of two variants) Gold Foil card signed by the Japanese voice actress who plays Honoka Kosaka: Emi Nitta.  The decks will include a rule sheet, deck manual, playbook and playmat.  The decks are packed six to a display, with eight displays per carton.  The English Edition does not include gold/silver campaign coupons.
 

The booster will include 100 types of cards in five rarities (RR:9/ R:19/ U:28/ C:32/ CX: 12), as well as 27 parallel cards (SP: 9/ RRR: 9/ SR: 9).  Gold foil chase cards featuring autographs from Japanese voice actresses will be randomly inserted into packs.  Each booster includes eight cards, with 20 boosters per display. Case toppers include eight foldable deck cases per 16-display carton.  The English Edition does not include gold/silver campaign coupons.  With this set, English and Japanese cards may be played together in tournament formats (except in Japan).
 
Other Weiss Schwarz CCG releases include the Bakemonogatari Trial Deck on January 17, Bakemonogatari Booster Pack on February 14,  and then the sequel to the popular Sword Art Online booster  (Sword Art Online Vol. 2 ) on April 25 (see "'Sword Art Online Vol. 2' Booster").
