Pre-registrations for the GAMA Trade Show are up 12% over last year’s pre-regs, and pre-registration runs until Saturday, so that could grow. The show will be held in Las Vegas March 17-21 (see "2014 GAMA Trade Show").
Over 1000 attended last year’s show, with around 480 retailers; over 500 retailers are expected to attend this year.
The show has grown large enough that companies purporting to be the official housing company have been targeting exhibitors with offers to book rooms for the event. Bally’s handles the event’s hotel bookings directly; GAMA Executive director John Ward told ICv2 that he did not know how the companies contacting exhibitors had obtained the contact info; exhibitor lists are available on the GAMA website.
