Valiant will offer five wraparound Chromium covers for various titles tied into its summer Armor Hunters cross-over event this June and July (see "'Armor Hunters' Is Valiant's 2014 Crossover Event") .
 
The wraparound artwork began appearing when Valiant announced their Valiant First initiative earlier this month (see "'Valiant First' Initiative Launches New Titles"), and the art for Armor Hunters #1, Armor Hunters: Bloodshot #1, and Armor: Hunters: Harbringer #1 is reproduced in that story.  Unity #8 and X-O Manowar #26 will also be part of the special limited-edition Chromium cover offering.
 
Retailers are eligible to "unlock Chromium" based on their order numbers of the five titles.  Once each separate title is "unlocked," retailers may order as many Chromium editions of the corresponding title as they like, though allocations may occur as the print runs for all five editions have already been set.  The Chromium covers carry an MSRP of $5.99, while non-Chromium standard editions of all five titles will be available for MSRP of $3.99.
 
Chromium covers were introduced by Valiant in the 1990s, including the Joe Quesada (now Marvel CCO) X-O Manowar #0 cover from 1993.
