Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, is the subject of the latest teaser image for Marvel’s Original Sin crossover event. In addition to the Original Sin slogan ("Everybody's Got One"), the teaser simply shows a bloody photo of the "The Wilsons" with the two adults crossed out in blood. The accompanying text states: "Original Sin--Deadpool has one, the secret is out in the pages of Deadpool in May."
Since Marvel has revealed very little about Deadpool’s past, does this illustration mean that the young Wade Wilson killed his parents, that Deadpool’s original sins are matricide and patricide? Or did he do something that indirectly resulted in the parents’ deaths?
At this point it appears that the Original Sin event could end up being a major series of revelations, starting with who killed The Watcher, but also encompassing some of the deepest and darkest secrets in the hearts of Marvel’s superheroes.
