Fox producers are raising the possibility of spin-off movies featuring Marvel characters from its X-Men movies, according to Entertainment Weekly. Donner said she’s interested in solo movies featuring Mystique, Deadpool, and Gambit. Simon Kinberg, who’s at the center of all of Fox’s superhero efforts, gave a strong rationale for a film starring Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence in a solo role. “I love what Jen Lawrence has done with her, and I feel like because she is in such a crowded ensemble, there’s so much more opportunity if you were to follow her solo.”
