In terms of the potential to sell graphic novels to the mainstream public, A Dame to Kill For remains something of an enigma. Unfortunately it has been nine years since the first Sin City movie debuted, so interest in the property has largely disappeared, but it was the major graphic novel sales driver of 2005, and Dark Horse has mounted an extensive publishing program for the property (see "Dark Horse's 'Sin City' Publishing Program").
But the best outcome for graphic novel sales could be that A Dame to Kill For does well enough at the box office that The Weinstein Company is able to realize its goal to turn Sin City into a cable TV series (see "'Sin City' TV Show").
