Warner Bros. has begun shooting its Batman-Superman film, which finally has a title. The film is titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which sounds a lot like a major purpose of the movie will be to introduce Justice League, which was formally announced last month (see "'Justice League' Movie Announced"). The logo with the new title was also released today.
Shooting is underway in Detroit, according to Warner Bros., with principal photography at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and on location in and around Detroit, Illinois, Africa, and the South Pacific.
Two images have been released through director Zack Snyder’s Twitter account, of Ben Affleck as Batman and the Batmobile (see "Shot of New Batman and Batmobile").
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on May 6, 2016 (see "Ouch! 'Superman/Batman' Movie Bumped to 2016").
