Lion Forge announced the acquisition of the licenses at New York Comic Con last fall (see "NYCC Digital Round-Up") along with additional 1980s TV licenses for Miami Vice, Punky Brewster, and Saved by the Bell. The digital publisher also recently signed a deal with digital first motion book platform Madefire in May (see "Digital Comics Round-Up").
The next title to release to print will be Lion Forge’s original series Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier, which is inspired by MMA fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. IDW and Lion Forge also have plans to publish and distribute print trades of other original and licensed collections, including those from Lion Forge’s young adult/all-ages imprint ROAR Comics.
