San Diego Comic-Con News: At Comic-Con Warner Bros. released the stylish first trailer for George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, the new Mad Max film that brings the sun-drenched, post-apocalyptic, Australian desert saga to the 21st Century, when it opens nationwide on May 15, 2015 (see "New 'Mad Max' in May, 2015"). The two-minute and 45 second trailer is one sustained concatenation of gorgeously choreographed violence, a sort of golden-hued outback chariot race with customized motor vehicles and supremely deadly intentions.
Mad Max: Fury Road stars Tom Hardy (Bane in The Dark Knight Rises), Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Courtney Eaton, Riley Keogh, and Abbey Lee Kershaw. The Comic-Con trailer is the first video promo for Miller’s new Mad Max movie, though some stills were released late last month (see "First Look at 'Mad Max: Fury Road'").
