New York Comic Con News: Archie Comics and Dark Horse Comics announced a spring 2015 crossover event during which America’s favorite teenager meets the galaxy’s most proficient hunter in Archie Meets Predator. Writer Alex de Campi (Grindhouse) is penning the crossover, which will be illustrated by artist Francisco Ruiz.
Archie Andrews is no lightweight when taking some of the comics’ most ferocious characters as in the historic Archie Meets the Punisher series from 1994, and the carrot-topped teen displayed a remarkable tolerance for bad rock and roll in 2011 in the four-issue Archie Meets Kiss miniseries (see "Kiss Returns to Comics With Archie & IDW").
In the new crossover with Dark Horse’s Predator, Archie and the gang are in Costa Rica for spring break, when they suddenly become players in a game that is far more dangerous than beach volleyball.
