Phil & Dixie, the beloved gaming comic characters who have appeared for years in Dragon Magazine (and for a while in the Duelist), are finally about to get their chance to show off the erotic side of their relationship in an exclusive Phil & Dixie strip for Valar's Book of Erotic Fantasy ($34.95), which ships to retailers in October.  Phil Foglio, creator of Phil & Dixie, is no stranger to erotic comics, but this will be the first time he has been allowed to create a libidinous version of his gaming duo.  This very special, eroticized version of Phil & Dixie will only be available in the Book Of Erotic Fantasy.  Valar's Book of Erotic Fantasy (see 'Valar Project Announces Erotic RPG') is the first d20 compatible volume to deal directly with issues of sex, seduction, love, marriage, and relationships.

BOEF writer/publisher Anthony Valterra told ICv2 at GenCon that ACD Distribution will act as a master distributor for the Book of Erotic Fantasy.  Other distributors will be handling the title, though the publisher told ICv2 that Alliance and Diamond decided not to carry the book -- a decision that was made before Valar made ACD the master distributor on the product.
