Warner Bros. Consumer Products has licensed a wide range of products based on the popular animated television series Mucha Lucha! to JAKKS Pacific.  Initial plans include action figures, play sets, and plush figures.

 

Mucha Lucha!, with a feature film in the works and into its second year of new animated episodes on the Kids' WB, (see ''Mucha Lucha' Feature, 2nd Season Announced'), was ranked as the #1 show for children ages 2-11 (and #2 for boys of the same age) for Saturday, September 20th. 

 

The new JAKKS toys, scheduled to begin shipping in the Spring of 2004, will join DC Comics' recent three-issue mini-series and The Heart of Lucha DVD as products that will allow retailers to capitalize on this hot property.
