ADV Films is releasing Resurrection, the first volume of the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Directors' Cut two-part series (see 'ADV Lands Four More Major Anime Acquisitions'), on January 13th, 2004.  Included are the extended Directors' Cut versions of episodes 21-23, along with the original broadcast versions.  DVD extras feature an exclusive interview with Richard Taylor, who heads the special effects studio working on the Neon Genesis Evangelion live-action feature (see 'ADV Acquires Live Action Evangelion Rights'), and never-before-seen production images from the theatrical release.  The episodes are presented in both subbed and dubbed versions.
