Promotopia of San Jose, California is importing a series of dinosaur collectibles from Japan, where the miniature DinoMania figures have already sold some 20 million units.  Produced by Kaiyodo, the limited edition hand-painted, miniature dinosaurs are anatomically accurate and manufactured with exacting detail.  The first series of DinoMania figures features 24 unique dinosaur models, plus one additional 'secret' dinosaur.  The ready-to-assemble dinosaurs come randomly enclosed in eye-catching triangular packaging, which also includes a collector sticker, collector guide, and two pieces of premium UHA hard chocolate candy.

These miniature dinosaurs have become an important collectible item in Japan -- and given the interest in extinct reptiles among youngsters in this country, these superbly crafted little keepsakes could also find a market here -- given the right distribution.
