Devil's Due Publishing, which has had some major success with licensed books such as G.I. Joe, is striking out in a different direction with a new imprint, Aftermath, which will showcase an all new universe of superpowered heroes. The Aftermath books will launch this fall, and Devil's Due plans to provide the particulars about its new superhero line at its panel in San Diego. The publisher has already lined up a number of top comic book scribes to pen the new line. Ron Marz, Marv Wolfman and Joe Casey will all be at the Devil's Due panel to talk about their new creations, while veteran comic writer Chuck Dixon, who won't be in San Diego, will also be writing a title for Devil's Due's new line. Devil's Due's press release also indicated that another topflight comic book writer, Mark Waid will be working on the company's Voltron comic.
