Two devilishly entertaining, horror-themed graphic novels -- Arcana Studios' Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell and Asylum Press's Satan's 3-Ring Circus -- are due out this summer.
The books take different approaches. Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell is a 'true graphic novel,' a single 112-page narrative; while Satan's 3-Ring Circus is an anthology of 40 stories. But fans of horror comics should delight in both of these macabre trade paperback releases.
Created by Jason Powell, written by Bobby Nash, and illustrated by Stephen Toth, Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell mixes humor and horror in the saga of a demon who just happens to look like a demented Bugs Bunny and who wants to take over the world. Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell is Arcana Studios' first graphic novel release. The 112-page full color volume will be available in June with a cover price of just $9.95.
Satan's 3-Ring Circus features a plethora of superb artists including William Stout, Tim Vigil, John Cassaday, Hillary Barta, Jim Smith, Frank Forte, and Tone Rodriguez (to name just a few) illustrating 40 stories written by Robert S. Rhine, described by horror maven Steve Niles as ' the sickest brain in the world.' Satan's 3-Ring Circus, which carries a cover price of $19.95, is a massive 270-page tome with 140 pages in full color and 136 pages in black-and-white halftones.
