Dwarfs are the most stubborn and determined warriors in the world of Warhammer.  They make up for their lack of stature with powerful war machines fashioned by their ingenious engineers and they have perfected the use of magic runes, which they inscribe on their weapons.  In January Games Workshop is unleashing a plethora of potent picayune packages for the Warhammer Collectible Miniatures Game.  The key to unlocking the potential of the Dwarfs is revealed in the Dwarf Army Book ($20), which includes descriptions of the troops that make up the Dwarf armies, details on how to harness the power of the runes, and well as rules and background for King Thorgrin Grudgebearer and other key Dwarf figures.

Players can easily build up their Dwarf armies with the Dwarf Warriors Box ($35), a collection of 16 plastic figures or the even more impressive Dwarf Battalion ($90), which contains 24 Dwarf warriors, 16 Thunderers, and one war machine with crew.  Other items are available singly, including the powerful catapult known as the Dwarf Grudge Thrower ($30), a Dwarf Master Engineer ($12), a Dwarf Runelord ($12), a Dwarf Lord With Great Weapon ($12), and last, but hardly least, Dwarf Joseph Bugman ($15), the most famous master brewer of all time and a key figure in keeping the Dwarf war machine and army well-oiled.
