The SCI FI Channel was the seventh most watched cable network in prime time among adults 25-54 during the fourth quarter of 2006 -- the network's second best Q4 performance in history.

Battlestar Galactica, which began its third season in October, led the prime time charge for the SCI FI Channel and did particularly well attracting younger viewers.  Compared with the second half of season 2, BSG's ratings were up 8% among adults 18-34.  The series posted a 15% gain in teenage viewers and a 20% boost among women from 18 to 34.  Thanks to the influx of younger viewers the average age of Battlestar Galactica's audience declined by over a year.
