Alderac Entertainment Group and Fun to 11, LLC announced they will partner to release the new fantasy battle card game EPIC PvP: Fantasy.  The game will be funded via an upcoming Kickstarter campaign, which will include a retailer level. Backer fulfillment is currently estimated for November, with trade release to follow.

The game, designed by Ryan Miller (Kaijudo, UFS: Street Fighter) and Luke Peterschmidt (Castle Dice), has players choose a unique Race Deck (Dwarf, Human, Goblin), mix it with a Class Deck (Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian ), shuffle them together, and battle.

Fun to 11’s previous products (all funded via Kickstarter) include Fairy Mischief, Castle Dice, Flame War and Miskatonic School for Girls.  In 2013, the company also planned to publish a licensed dice game based on characters from Paizo’s Pathfinder RPG, but canceled the game mid-Kickstarter (see “'Pathfinder Dice Arena' Canceled”).

“It makes sense for Fun to 11 to partner with a company who could handle that side of distribution without disrupting our desire to focus on making fun, quality games and delivering them to our customers,” said Fun to 11 CEO Luke Peterschmidt. “AEG makes great games and they have a fantastic relationship with the retail market.”
