The new international campaign supporting the Catan line is continuing: Kosmos and Mayfair have revealed the new Catan logo, and Mayfair has announced International Catan Day. The new Catan logo, announced a few weeks back (see "Kosmos, Mayfair Freshen 'Catan' Branding"), will unify branding across all markets, and reposition the base game in all countries and languages as Catan.
Mayfair also announced plans for International Catan Day, which will be held April 24-26 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will include free open play, the Catan National Championship Qualifier, mammoth floor games, giant tabletop games, smaller versions of "The Big Game" in which 100 players played, and Catan games that haven’t been seen in years including the original Catan Historical series, Settlers of Nuremburg, Das Buch, and more.
