Mayfair Games has released cover art and details on the new rebranded Catan board game releases, a change which was announced last month (see "Kosmos, Mayfair Freshen 'Catan' Branding"). All releases will street on April 23rd.

The new streamlined box design shifts all game boxes from landscape to portrait orientation.  The graphics for the covers, tiles and cards will all be done by the same artist, however the backs of all cards will remain the same.  The tiles will have the same cut, size and card stock of 4th edition releases.  The perspective on the tile art will remain the same as well, though the art is new.  The rulebook will also contain new graphics.
