As part of the celebration of the company’s 25th Anniversary, Valiant Entertainment has announced several special releases and variant covers releasing in May.
Valiant will offer a new trade paperback collection, Valiant: Zeroes & Origins, which collects zero issue introductions for X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger, Shadowman and more. The 160-page trade paperback has a MSRP of $19.99.
The Valiant Universe Handbook: 2015 Edition is a 40-page updated guide detailing all of Valiant’s heroes, with biographies and information on where they’re headed. MSRP is $2.99.
Valiant also plans a special Free Comic Book Day release, Valiant 25th Anniversary Special, which will feature two new stories and a company history. Jeff Lemire and Butch Guice will chronicle the fallout of The Valiant with a new prelude story Bloodshot Reborn. Robert Venditti and Rafa Sandoval offer up a new introduction to X-O Manowar in the new Dead Hand tale. The book will also include content for Ninjak, Imperium, Divinity, Ivar, Timewalker, and RAI.
