DC Comics has released the image for Greg Capullo’s variant cover for Convergence #1, which gives us several good views of the new robotic Batsuit that makes the Caped Crusader look like a cross between Mazinger Z and Chappie. DC has been releasing images of the new costumes that the company’s key characters will be sporting in the post-Convergence DC Universe including an image by Ardian Syaf for the cover of Batman/Superman #21 in which the massive Batsuit towers 3 feet over the head of the Man of Steel (see "New Costumes for Core DC Characters").
In the newly released (via Bleeding Cool) Capullo 1:100 incentive variant for Convergence #1, the new Batsuit appears to be on a diet, looking taller and a bit slimmer. It should be interesting to find out the backstory behind the new costume as well as the enhanced capabilities it provides for the Dark Knight.
