Peachstate Hobby Distribution has announced the inaugural Machi Koro Championships. Retail stores can host store-based qualifier events from June 1 – July 31. 

Stores who wish to run a qualifier event for the card game championship can contact PHD’s Director of Marketing and Organized Play, Ian Richards, and purchase a Championship Qualifier kit from PHD.  The kit will contain exclusive prize support and promotional materials.  Winners will receive unique prizes and an invitation to compete in the Machi Koro Championship Finals at Gen Con 2015.

IDW Games/Pandasaurus Games, who co-publish the game, said “PHD approached us with a plan, and we were blown away with their enthusiasm. We're sure this will be great for Machi fans and game shops alike.”
