Michelle MacLaren, announced as director of Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman film just five months ago (see "'Wonder Woman' Director Named"), has left the production over "creative differences," according to Variety. She became attached to the film in November. Casting was about to begin for love interest Steve Trevor, according to the report.
The star was cast before MacLaren was hired; Gal Gadot was signed to star as Wonder Woman in three films (see "Warner Bros. Gives New Wonder Woman Three Picture Deal").
