{IMAGE_2}The pilot episode for the new CBS Supergirl series, which isn’t slated to air until November (see “Trailer for Supergirl”), leaked online last night in a pristine 1080p copy with no watermark Variety notes that networks have released pilot episodes in the past to generate buzz, “but never this far (6 months) in advance.” The pilot for the CW’s Flash was circulating last summer three months before the show’s premiere, though that was reported as a theft—and the leaked pilot did help generate buzz for the series, so who knows?  The early online reaction to the leaked Supergirl pilot has been positive.

According to Deadline, British actor Tom Brooke will play the recurring role of Fiore in the AMC Preacher series, which is set to go to pilot (see “AMC Seals the Deal for Preacher TV Series”).

Greg Grunberg, who play the telepathic detective Matt Parkman throughout the NBC Heroes TV series, is returning for the network’s Heroes Reborn series that is slated to air on NBC in the fall on Thursday nights (see “Heroes Returns”).  Entertainment Weekly reports that Grunberg will be joining a cast that also includes returning Heroes stars Masi Oka and Jack Coleman as Hiro Nakamura and Noah Bennet respectively.
