Z2 Comics has announced its fall graphic novel slate, which will include three original graphic novels as well as a new edition of Harvey Pekar’s autobiographical Cleveland.

The building does not obey the normal laws of physics, and he soon finds out all the residents are missing parts of their memory or identity. The 240-page, full color hardcover releases on November 10. MSRP is $24.99.

Ashes: A Firefighter’s Tale is written by Mario Candelaria, with art by Karl Slominski. The black and white tale tells the story of former firefighter Matt, who lost his leg in an accident, and now must rebuild his shattered family life. The 120-page paperback will release on September 22. MSRP is $19.99.

Z2 will also release a new edition of Cleveland, previously released by Z2 (then Zip Comics) and Top Shelf in 2012 (see “The Apotheosis of the Mundane”). Written by Pekar, with art by Joseph Remnant, the semi-autobiographical tale presents key moments and characters from the city’s history, interwoven with events from Harvey’s own life. The book was nominated for a Harvey award for Best Penciller/Inker in 2013 (see “2013 Eisner Nominations”). The 128-page black and white hardcover has an introduction by Alan Moore, and is due for release in November. MSRP was not announced.

The company recently announced plans to release periodical comics this fall (see “Pekar, Pope Publisher to Launch Periodical Comics Line”).
