An announcement in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen magazine indicates that Ryosuke Fuji will adapt Hiroshi Seto’s novel Attack on Titan: Lost Girls into a manga.  The manga adaptation will debut in Bessatsu Shonen next month and will focus on Mikasa and Annie, who are the subjects of the Attack on Titan: Lost Girls novel, which is composed of three short stories that feature the girls.  Vertical announced at Anime Expo that it will publish the Attack on Titan: Lost Girls novel here in the U.S.

Given the popularity of Attack on Titan here in North America where it is the #1 manga property according to ICv2’s survey of manga sales (see “Top Ten Manga Franchises”), it should be only a matter of time before the Attack on Titan: Lost Girls manga is released here.

The Anime News Network also reports that there will be an important announcement next month concerning another Attack on Titan spin-off, Saki Nakagawa’s Attack on Titan: Junior High comedy manga.  Kodansha has now published three volumes of AoT: Junior High series in English.  Could there be an anime adaptation in the offing?
