Udon Entertainment, which has been releasing licensed comics since 2003, will launch the monthly Street Fighter Unlimited in December. The series will be written by Ken Siu-Chong (Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter), with art by Joe Ng (Street Fighter Origins: Akuma) and Edwin Huang (Skullkickers). The stories, which combines fighters from all eras of the Street Fighter franchise, will be told in four-issue story arcs. The new series will feature four-page bonus stories from a rotating team of talent including Jim Zub, Adam Warren, Chris Sarracini, Jeffery Cruz, and Omar Dogan among others.
IDW Publishing will release Street Fighter X GI Joe, which will see Street Fighter’s Shadaloo and GI Joe’s Cobra team up, according to Polygon. The six-issue miniseries is planned for 2016, and since the announcement was made at Capcom’s Street Fighter V video game panel, the release will likely coincide with the game, scheduled for March 2016.
