At Gen Con, Spartan Games was demoing its recently released Halo: Fleet Battles miniatures game (see “‘Halo’ Comes to the Tabletop”) including the Covenant CSO-class supercarrier Long Night of Solace display piece.  The company shared information on seven upcoming expansions, all scheduled to release this month. It also announced plans for a Halo ground combat game scheduled to release in 2016.

Three expansions are intended for the Covenant side:

The Covenant Commander Pack includes a 128-page rulebook, reference sheet, two sheets of tokens, 7 dice, a fleet commander card, and a game statistics sheet.  MSRP is $52.50.

The Covenant Large Upgrade Box features 6 unassembled ship models—2 ORS Heavy Cruisers and 4 SDV Heavy Corvettes—with flight stands and overlay sheets, and an assembly guide.  MSRP is $43.75.

The Covenant Core Upgrade Box will have 14 unassembled ship models, including 2 CCS Battlecruisers and 12 SDV Heavy Corvettes, with flight stands and overlay sheets and an assembly guide.  MSRP is $52.50.

The UNSC side also gets three expansions:

The UNSC Commander Pack comes with a 128-page book, two token sheets, 7 dice, a fleet commander card, reference sheet, and statistics sheet for MSRP $52.50.

The UNSC Large Upgrade Box contains 8 unassembled ship models, with 2 Epoch Heavy Carriers and 6 Paris Class Frigates, along with flight stands, overlay sheets, and an assembly guide.  MSRP is $43.75.

The UNSC Core Upgrade Box includes 28 unassembled ship models:  4 Marathon Heavy Cruisers and 24 Paris Class Frigates, again with flight bases, overlay sheets, and assembly guide.  MSRP is $52.50.

The last planned expansion is the Halo: Fleet Battles Command Dice Pack, which includes 20 custom combat dice for the game.  MSRP is $24.50.
