She’s already donned Spidey’s duds, and been re-imagined as other members of the Marvel Universe (see “Gwen Stacy Replaces Marvel Heroes”), now Gwen Stacy is reconned as Deadpool in an series of back-up Howard the Duck stories, leading into her own holiday one-shot.

Gwenpool makes her debut in Howard The Duck #1 – 3, which will be written by Christopher Hastings, with art by Danilo Bayruth. When Gwenpool stumbles into this dimension, she gets help adjusting by Howard the Duck, who understands what it’s like to adjust to life in an alternate universe.  A Gwenpool variant cover for Howard the Duck will be done by Ron Lim.

In December, Gwenpool will join the rest of the Marvel Universe in a series of stories done by multiple creators and artists in Gwenpool Special #1.  The comic will feature stories by Gerry Duggan, Charles Soule, and Christopher Hastings; and art by Danilo Beyruth, Langdon Foss, Gurihiru and more.  The main cover will be done by Kris Anka, with a Gwenpool variant by Robbi Rodriguez, and a She-Hulk variant by Emanuela Lupacchino.
