WizKids will release Uncanny X-Men, a new Marvel HeroClix expansion set, next May.  The release will include Boosters, a Fast Forces pack, and a Dice & Token Pack.

The new set features the mutant characters of the X-Men, including both classic characters and those from current X-Men stories.  The sub-themes for the set include All-New X-Men, the Marauders, and Freedom Force.

This set will also have the new ClixFX bases, designed to help players keep track of environment and ongoing in-game effects.

The complete Uncanny X-Men set will include 70 new figures, with 16 common, 16 uncommon, 16 rare, 12 super-rare, and 6 chase figures, sold in Booster Bricks.

An Uncanny X-Men Fast Forces set featuring the All New X-Men will also be available separately, with 6 HeroClix figures and a ClixFX base.  This set is designed to help new players and experienced fans quickly build figure teams for tournaments or casual games.  MSRP is $16.99.

The themed accessory Dice & Token Pack offers a pair of custom dice with the X-Men logo and six action tokens for use with the game.  MSRP is $9.99.

Retailers that want to host OP events on release day can order the Uncanny X-Men Release Day Organized Play Kit, with a limit of three kits per store.  Each kit includes three copies of a special limited edition HeroClix figure and matching character card, five copies of a double-sided game map, and a rules addendum for the event.  All OP materials will be marked “Not for Resale”.

The Uncanny X-Men set will follow April’s Captain America:  Civil War set (see “‘Captain America:  Civil War’ Comes to ‘Marvel HeroClix’”).
