Arcane Wonders will release two new expansions for Mage Wars Academy in Q2, Mage Wars Academy Priestess Expansion and Mage Wars Academy Warlock Expansion.

These expansions add more options to both the Mage Wars Academy Core Set and Mage Wars Arena games, introducing two new characters to the popular magical combat game filled with tactical decisions and customizable spellbooks. Both games include 72 spell cards, game markers, and rules for the Priestess and Warlock, respectively. MSRP for both expansions is $19.99

The Priestess has abilities that let her smite the wicked and summon virtuous allies. Her powers are allied with evoking holy powers and light. The Warlock exhibits diabolical powers, nearly the opposite in morality to the Priestess. He enters the battle wielding powerful weapons and spells, both at once. Mage Wars Academy Priestess Expansion becomes available in April; Mage Wars Academy Warlock Expansion releases in June.

Mage Wars Arena and Mage Wars Academy represent the new core and entry point to the game, and arrive in Q1 of this year (see "New 'Mage Wars' Core Set").

In addition to the Mage Ways line, Royals, the third game in the Dice Towers Essentials line, is due out from Arcane Wonders in Q2 (see "Ascend to Aristocratic Eminence in 'Royals'").
