Middara combines cooperative storytelling and miniatures.  Up to four players assume the roles of heroes in a modern fantasy version of Earth.  The game features over 20 hours of narrative-driven play, and hundreds of abilities and equipment for the characters to acquire and develop over the course of the game.  Optional five-player rules allow an additional player to take control of the game’s antagonists in overlord-style play.

The game will include 4 hero figures, 22 antagonist figures, 17 custom dice, 461 cards, 35 board tiles, and 168 tokens, as well as the game rules and an adventure book.  MSRP and release date have not yet been announced.

Succubus Publishing funded the project through a Kickstarter campaign that attracted $342,936 of pledged support from 3,210 backers (an average of $106.83 per backer).  Succubus will continue to handle the Kickstarter backer fulfillment, while Ninja Division will handle all international distribution and trade sales.
