IDW’s Top Shelf Productions imprint has revealed the cover and release date for Rep. John Lewis’ March: Book Three.  The book will release in August.

Co-authored by Lewis and Andrew Aydin, the third book in the historic graphic memoir trilogy is illustrated by Nate Powell.  The cover shows the Selma, Alabama showdown at the Edmund Pettus Bridge.  The 240-page graphic novel has an MSRP of $19.99 for softcover and $29.99 for hardcover.

Top Shelf will also be releasing a
March Trilogy Slipcase Set in August with an MSRP of $49.99.

The story picks up during Fall 1963, where chair of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, John Lewis and an army of young activists launch a series of projects, including the Freedom Vote and Mississippi Freedom Summer, as they fight for the soul of the Democratic Party and the nation.  Then Lewis heads to Alabama to participate in what will become a historic showdown and pivotal historic moment, leading to the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
