Amazon has announced that the first season of its new Thunderbirds Are Go! series will premiere on Amazon Prime in the U.S. on April 15 with a one-hour sneak preview of “Ring of Fire Parts 1 and 2.” Then the full 13-episode season will debut on April 22.
The series will “subsequently air on Prime Video in the UK, German, and Austria, following a deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment,” according to the announcement.
Amazon has purchased four 13-episode seasons for its Amazon Prime service.
ITV was pushing out the images and video last year (see “New ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ Stills” and “New ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ Trailer”), but has been quiet lately.
