Uslan (Archie, Justice, Inc., T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents) will write the six-issue series, with Giovanni Timpano (The Shadow, Justice, Inc.) providing interior art. The main cover for Issue #1 will be done by John Cassaday, with multiple variant covers provided by Timpano and Cassaday.

The story follows the carefully researched alternative history of 1936, which clarifies what happened to the Lone Ranger and uncovers the familial link to a modern day vigilante like the Ranger himself.
