Panini America plans to release Dragon Ball Z: Vengeance, the next expansion for its Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game, in July.

This booster-only expansion set features cards based on four DBZ movies:  Cooler’s Revenge, The Return of Cooler, Super Android 13, and Broly—The Legendary Super Saiyan.  The set includes three playable villains, including Broly himself, new versions of the heroes Gohan, Krillin, Master Roshi, and Trunks, and a new Dragon Rare card.

Booster Packs will include 12 random cards from the 143-card set, and are packaged 24 packs per display box.  Each booster box contains 24 Rare cards and 8 foil Parallels.  Every other box will contain one of two Ultra Rare cards.

To support the release, Panini will make free tournament kits available for participating registered retailers.

The last Dragon Ball Z expansion, Perfection, was released in February (see “‘Dragon Ball Z TCG’ Reaches ‘Perfection’”).
